General information about REACH registration
Companies that manufacture or import a substance in quantities of one ton or more per year are required to register it under REACH with ECHA (European Chemicals Agency).
The registration requirement applies to EU manufacturers and importers of substances, substances in mixtures and, in some cases, articles. For manufacturers outside the EU, this role is assumed by the Only Representative.
